AC/DC MOTORS
AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) motors are two common types of electric motors used in various applications.
Induction Motors are the most common type of AC motors and are widely used in industrial and commercial applications. Brushed DC Motors use brushes and a commutator to switch the direction of current flow in the armature windings, causing the rotor to rotate. Brushed DC motors are relatively simple and inexpensive but require regular maintenance due to brush wear.
