DBR - DYNAMIC BREAKING RESISTANCE

Dynamic Braking Resistance (DBR) is an essential component in electrical systems, particularly in applications where braking of motors and other rotating machinery is required. When a motor decelerates or stops, it generates energy that needs to be dissipated to prevent damage to the motor and associated equipment. DBR provides a means to dissipate this excess energy safely and efficiently. DBR works by providing a resistive load path for the energy generated during braking, converting the kinetic energy of the rotating load into heat.
